Army Institute of Law (AIL) Law Entrance Test (LET) 2020 is the entrance exam conducted by Army Institute of Law (AIL) every year for admission to the first year in 5 years BA LLB and 1 year LLM program.

Candidates can download the AIL LET 2020 Admit Card from the official website in this time as per schedule.

Eligibility Criteria

Before appearing for the exam candidates should check eligibility Criteria for the exam. The Institute formed AIL LET 2020 eligibility criteria and is applicable to all aspirants.

Candidates can check all the details below:

  1. Candidates should have passed class 12.
  2. They must secure at least 45% marks. Result for
  3. Students who have completed class 12 from open university systems directly, without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible for law admission.
  4. Candidates appearing for class 12 exam in March / April 2020 are also eligible.
  5. Candidates passing compartment exam subsequently are not eligible even if the seat is available.
  6. Such candidates who passed a qualifying examination from board or university whose degree is not equivalent to Punjabi University, Patiala, will have to show eligibility certificate from Punjabi University, Patiala at time of interview.
  7. If candidates belong to such boards where results are delayed then they should apply well in time to concerned board to request them to send a confidential result directly to Principal, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Punjab.
  1. Candidates should have BA LLB or LLB.
  2. They must have at least 55% marks in BA LLB or LLB

Application Form Procedure

Candidates have to follow the two steps to fill the online application form for the entrance examination.

  1. Visit the official website ail.ac.in
  2. Now click on the New registration Tab.
  3. Now, online registration form will appear.
  4. Fill the basic information of the candidate in the registration page (i.e. Name of the Candidate, Category, Date of Birth, Mobile number, Email Id etc.).
  5. The application number and password will be send through the registered email id and mobile number. The same is required before filling online form
  1. At the time of registration Log in with your registration number and password received.
  2. Click on Go to Application and fill in all the required details as per requirement.
  3. Choose category and fill the details thoroughly.
  4. Select Test city preference and proceed to payment through online methods
  5. Candidates must pay requisite fee amount. Your application form will not be considered complete till you see the payment successful status in your application preview page.
  6. Take the printout of the application form for future reference.
