ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR CGL EXAMINATION

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • A graduate degree which is issued on or before 01.08.2018 must be possessed by the applicants.
  • However, those  in their final year of graduation can undoubtedly apply for SSC CGL with their provisional degrees.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Each and every process of the application form will be conducted 'Online' through the official website of SSC CGL (Website Link: www.ssc.nic.in).
  • Therefore for registration a valid Email-Id is must.
  • Precautions must be taken while filling up the application form.
  • Payment process can be done online using Internet Banking.
  • Once the form filling is over the applicant can click the Submit Button and keep a print of the application form with them.

 

ALL ABOUT THE SSC CGL EXAMINATION

The whole examination process is divided into 4 tires has written below.

  • 1st Step:- ONLINE EXAMINATION
  • 2nd Step:- ONLINE EXAMINATION
  • 3rd Step:- Descriptive Paper in ENGLISH/HINDI
  • 4th Step:- COMPUTER PROFICIENCY TEST/ SKILL TEST

 

Exam Pattern

  • Number of sections in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 are 4.
  • All the other three sections for Tier 1 as well as Tier 2 are same except the syllabus of English.
  • SSC CGL examination is for 60 minutes containing 25 questions.
  • MARKING SCHEME: - Candidates will be rewarded with two marks for each correct answer where as they will lose 0.5 marks for each wrong answer.
