The RBI ASSISTANT exam will be conducted online in 2 phases-Prelims and Mains. In addition to both these stages, language proficiency test has now been implemented. It is important to mention here that Reserve Bank of India has scrapped interview from the recruitment process.

RBI ASSISTANT VACANCIES 2018:

The vacancies for RBI Assistant 2018 exam have not been released as the official recruitment notification is yet to be released. It is expected that RBI will release 600+ vacancies this year for the post of Assistant. Last year RBI released a total of 623 vacancies.

Once you join up with RBI, you can get an in-house promotion there is no need to stand again in competition. RBI Assistant is better than any government organisation in terms of allowances. You’ll get conveyance remuneration more than to the officers of other equivalent banks.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Some major criteria need to require for the eligibility:

  • Nationality/Citizenship:

The candidate must be Indian or the subject of Nepal, Bhutan or refugees of Tibetan

  • Age restriction:

Minimum: 20years

Maximum: 28years

Age Relaxation:

  • Sc/St-5years
  • OBC-3years
  • PwD-10years
  • PwD(OBC)-13years
  • And PwD-15years
  • Education Qualification:
  • Graduate from University/ Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India.
  • Minimum of 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate
  • Knowledge of word processing on Personal Computer (PC).

 

APPLICATION FEE FOR IBPS CLERK EXAM:

Few things to remember before applying:-

  • Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only: Payment of fees/ intimation charges via the ONLINE MODE
  • Candidates should carefully fill in the details in the Online Application at the appropriate places very carefully and click on the “FINAL SUBMIT” button at the end of the On-Line Application format. Before pressing the “FINAL SUBMIT” button. 

The application fee should be paid through credit/debit or using net banking.

Pre-REQUISITES FOR APPLYING ONLINE:-

Before going further it is very important to know that every process/stage to fill the form is online format.

Some important points are:

  1. Go to the official website
  2. At the Top click "Click here for New Registration" link.
  3. Enter your valid details as mentioned in your professional documents.
  4. Check the details carefully and click on "submit" button.
  5. You will be shared a Registration Number on your Email ID & Mobile number. Please remember your email will use in further worries so give a permanent address email.
  6. Upload and scanned photograph and signature. According to their given dimension of size.
  7. Fill other details like exam centres, address detail, educational qualification etc.
  8. Check twice before you click on the "Submit" button and pay the amount.
  9. Download the copy of the form as hard-copy for future use.

 

About RBI ASSISTANT exam:-

Penalty for wrong answer:

A penalty for every wrong answer will be marked in objective test of both preliminary and mains exams. Every wrong answer will be penalised by deducting 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for leaving a question blank, i.e in case no answer is marked by the candidate.

 

Stage 3: Language proficiency test

The candidates provisionally selected from the mains on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the office al /local language of the state concerned. Candidate not proficient in the official/ local language would be disqualified.

RBI assistant pay scale, salary and perks:

  • Assistants will draw a starting basic pay of ₹ 14650/- per month (i.e. ₹ 13150 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates) in the scale of 13150-750 (3)-15400- 900(4) -19000-1200(6)-26200-1300 (2)-28800- 1480(3) – 33240 – 1750 (1)- 34990 (20 years) there will also be entitled to various other perks and allowances  such as:
  • Dearness Allowance
  • House Rent Allowance,
  • City Compensatory Allowance,
  • Transport Allowance
  • The initial  gross compensation or the hand in salary of RBI ASSISTANT at present stands at approximately Rs 32528/- including the house rent allowance @of 15%
  • Perks: RBI’s accommodation subject to availability, reimbursement of expenses of maintenance of vehicle for official purpose, Newspaper, Brief case, Book Grant, Allowance for furnishing of residence, etc. as per eligibility. Dispensary facility besides reimbursement of medical expenses of OPD treatment / hospitalization as per eligibility; Interest free Festival Advance, Leave Fare Concession (Once in two years for self, spouse and eligible dependents). Loans and Advances at concessional rates of interest for Housing, Car, Education, Consumer Articles, Personal Computer, etc.
